 RESCUE GROUPS INFORMATION

Our organization is rescue friendly!

Pull Fee: Actual expenses plus $15 pull fee per animal (or litter).

Examples of usual expenses:
Spay (canine): $45 to $70 (depending on clinic)
Neuter (canine): $40 to $60 (depending on clinic)
Heart Worm Testing: $21
Rabies: $10
DHPP w/ corona (no Lepto): $5
Bordetella: $5
Skin scraping to determine Demodex or Sarcops: $10
Frontline: $5

Worming: $5

Antibiotics/prescription ointments/etc.: our cost

Vetting policies:

We require sterilization of animals prior to transfer if the rescue does not spay/neuter prior to adoption or placement (even if the contract requires sterilization within 30 days).

Do you consider yourself to be a no-kill rescue, or do you ever have to euthanize the animals you take into rescue?

In order to approve a rescue group, we will require:

1) references from at least one veterinarian used by the rescue,
2) references from pounds or shelters who have transferred animals to the rescue, and
3) verification of the rescue's adoption policies.

We need to review the rescue group's adoption contract.
