If you are contacting us about an animal (questions about an animal available for adoption or questions about adopting from us), please be sure to read the information on already available on this website by clicking on ADOPT or FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) in the blue left navigation bar BEFORE CONTACTING US. 

If you are interested in adopting an animal, your first step in determining if this is the right pet to add to your family would be to submit an on-line adoption application. We realize that this might seem a bit backward (especially if you have questions or are not absolutely sure you want to adopt that animal)... but since we are staffed by volunteers who are scheduled to the max, we have consolidated our process into one step.  There is a place on the application to ask questions.  Once we receive your application, our adoption counselors can begin the process of determining whether this pet is a good match for your family, answering your questions, checking your references, etc.

Note:  If you are calling about an animal you are interested in adopting, please fill out an on-line adoption application instead of leaving a telephone message.  In returning your phone call, we will ask you to complete the application... and the time you save in first completing the application instead of leaving a message on our telephone answering machine may mean you get to adopt the animal you are interested in before they are adopted by another family, transferred to another rescue, etc.  There is a place on the application to ask any specific questions you may have about this animal.
