For an animal housed at the Animal Control Facility:
The Campbell County Animal Control Facility is located near Yellow Branch Elementary School in rural Campbell County, Virginia . . . 7 miles south of the Lynchburg airport.  Near the intersection of Route 24 and Route 29, turn onto Dennis Riddle Lane (directly across from the Colonial Diner on Route 29).  Dennis Riddle Lane runs between Yellow Branch School and the driving range... the animal control facility is the first building on the right.  The hours of the animal control facility are Monday through Friday from 12 noon - 5 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.  Closed Sundays and holidays.

For an animal housed at the Lynchburg PetSmart:
Cats in residence at the Lynchburg PetsMart adoption center may be adopted during all regular store hours (Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) The Lynchburg PetsMart is located on Wards Road in the Target Shopping Center.

For an animal in a Foster Home or Feline Facility:
In order to arrange for a visit with an animal housed in foster care or our feline facility, you must first complete an on-line adoption application so our adoption counselors can begin the process of evaluating your application and checking your references.  This may seem a bit backward, since you may not be certain you actually want to adopt the dog or cat before meeting them, but since we are staffed by volunteers who are scheduled to the max, we don't arrange for visits with animals in foster care or in the feline facility (which is not open to the public)  unless we are sure we would approve the potential adopter.
