UPDATE: Glenda has been in the care of the HSCC and its volunteers for over two years! It is lucky for her that our cat residential facility is decorated and furnished like a home, and Glenda basically is living in a home environment, but kept physically separated from other cats. Her FIV disease may not even be a problem for her, but the chance is always there, so her new family needs to know all there is to know about FIV.
Glenda is a sweet girl who has been through quite a bit. She's super friendly and loves everyone she meets. We took her to be spayed today only to discover that she is FIV+. Adoption fees include: age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, flea/tick preventative, spay/neuter, HW test (dogs six months and older), FelV/FIV testing (cats and kittens) and microchip implant (includes registration)
PLEASE NOTE: Dogs and cats listed with the Campbell County Pound or Animal Control Facility are considered URGENT; there is limited space for holding dogs and cats there. We do NOT have our own facility, but try to move our pets into foster homes, rescue groups, or to the homes of adopters, as quickly as possible. All adoptions go through the HSCC.
