I am the cutest mixed-up Sheltie in the whole state of Virginia! My curly black coat came from somewhere else, but my cute tipped-over ears and charming playful personality are surely Sheltie. I don't recall all of the events leading up to my being with the HSCC, but know that it involved something called a "seizure," and then a very sweet Animal Control Officer from Campbell County coming to take a look at me. I was so confused! I asked her if she could take me to her shelter, and she immediately said "yes!" After a short time at the Campbell County pound, I headed to a foster home where I hung out with great foster siblings, and then not too long ago, I went to another foster home where a little girl lives and loves me to death.
Did I mention that the vet I went to says I am a cute little girl who is about 7 or 8 years old? My teeth are kind of nasty looking, so I will be going to the doctor to get them cleaned next Friday. I am already spayed and I am heartworm negative! I am anxious to head to my new home. Please apply online to adopt me!

Adoption fees include: age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, flea/tick preventative, spay/neuter, HW test (dogs six months and older), FelV/FIV testing (cats and kittens) and microchip implant (includes registration)
PLEASE NOTE: Dogs and cats listed with the Campbell County Pound or Animal Control Facility are considered URGENT; there is limited space for holding dogs and cats there. We do NOT have our own facility, but try to move our pets into foster homes, rescue groups, or to the homes of adopters, as quickly as possible. All adoptions go through the HSCC.
