Sadie is in doggy heaven on earth now that she is with a great foster family. She is relaxing and enjoying life, after being spayed last week. Her foster family tells me she is basically very easy to care for, althoug she mistakenly has decided a doggy chew toy with a squeaker inside it must be one of the puppies she misplaced (in her mind), as she is now caring for the toy as if it were her baby. While this is an adorable story for me to tell and for you to read, apparently it is causing some extra work for the foster family right now. Sadie expects to have her meals delivered to her crate and water carried to her as well, since she is taking care of a "puppy." With time, this behavior will pass and eventually, Sadie will realize she is not a new mom and her squeaker toy is just that--a toy and not a puppy. Please apply to adopt online.

Adoption fees include: age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, flea/tick preventative, spay/neuter, HW test (dogs six months and older), FelV/FIV testing (cats and kittens) and microchip implant (includes registration)
PLEASE NOTE: Dogs and cats listed with the Campbell County Pound or Animal Control Facility are considered URGENT; there is limited space for holding dogs and cats there. We do NOT have our own facility, but try to move our pets into foster homes, rescue groups, or to the homes of adopters, as quickly as possible. All adoptions go through the HSCC.
